HIPAA Release

HIPAA is the abbreviation for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. It is based on a Federal law which limits who can view or obtain information about your health care information and records. When you have a HIPAA Release you are naming the person(s) who are able to receive medical information about you from doctors and other health care professionals. Although you are giving permission for them to receive information, they do not have the authority to be able to make health care decisions for you unless they are the individual(s) you named as your Agent for Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care.

Each client's situation is unique. Therefore, we believe in creating customized solutions.
